Math
June 15-19, last week of school!  This week your teachers have set up some virtual field trips you can find on the ELA tab.  For math, make sure you have completed the standards mastery test and finish any incomplete assignments.

Week of June 8th

Hello 4th grade families and students,

This week we are asking students to complete a Math Mastery Assessment on i-Ready. The information we gain from this assessment will help inform summer school as well as the start of next school year. Please have your child sign into i-Ready to take the test. The test is an average of 60 minutes. Please do NOT have your child complete the test in one sitting. We highly recommend that they work 15-20 minutes each day until they complete it. Breaking the test up will minimize any frustration students may feel. Students can take the rest of their time each day to make up any missed work in order to get credit for the 4th marking period. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher.

Thank you for your support!

4th Graders, Mrs. Lariviere wanted to let her students know that she will be updating her Unified Classroom Math Page with assignments and activities daily (click below).  Student log in with their id#@springfieldpublicschools.com and their password is Sp followed by their birthday.
For example:

username:  [email protected]
password:  Sp102811

Students should also be completing 15 minutes of iReady each day working on lessons in their lesson path and ones assigned to them.  They can also play any of the learning games on iReady too.  There are also links at the bottom of the page to games and applications students use in class.

The following apps can be downloaded on a table or phone if you do not have a computer:  Sumdog, prodigy, quizziz, freckle and xtramath.

Ms. Hemingway
would like to remind her students that they can still practice their multiplication and division facts using our daily website, Hit the Button. I have also included the Grade 4 Math Reference Sheet that we use every day. This Reference Sheet will help all fourth grade students with the math work that is being assigned to you.
